On average, how many canapes, per person?
We're having 5 different ones, but not sure how many of each one per person
I'd ring the hotel and ask but the wedding co is not in today.

Hi shellsuit,
most caterers tell you to allow 5/6 per person, i have always allowed round abouts he same amount depending on the time of the weddingbreakfast/meal.
if the canapes are served at say 3pm and the meal is not until 6 pm i may make it 6/7 per person, but if the canapes are served at 3pm and the meal is at 4-5pm i would allow 5/6 per person.
i hope this helps and i am on telling you what i have done with couples for there weddings.

Hi that's great thank you!! Didn't realise it was that many pp, me and OH thought it would be 2 or 3 pp
Will check with the hotel though as if we choose 5, I can't see people eating 30 canapes each! :rotfl:Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
My friend wanted her wedding to be relaxed and informal. For the reception following the ceremony, she doubled the amount of champagne the venue recommended and had no canapes.

Haha I like it! :rotfl:
We're not having anything formal, the canapes are for after the ceremony, along with champagne, just to offer something to nibble on until the evening buffet.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0
