Asda has given me £10...

ASDA has given me £10 off my next shop, which means that I need to spend £50 in order for it to take effect, which is more than weekly budget. So effectively, I am getting £10 for free

So how would you make best use of the money and make it go the furthest?
Would you stock up on store cupboard items?
Would you do a 2 week shop and then have the extra money next week?
Would you blow it all on treats/more expensive meals?

I just want to get the most bang for my free bucks!:rotfl:

  • Seeing as vat is going up in December I would buy things like chocolate, wine (yes you pay vat on top of duty)or any other vat rated stuff

  • Store cupboards or double shop. Probably double shop for me, actually, considering how tight money is for us just now. It would be extra towards a bill or something else needed.

  • I'd go for store cupboard stuff but look out for special offers eg BOGOF (but only on things you'd normally use and will keep ok to maximise your tenner. (if you get enough bogof stuff you'll have saved enough money to buy a treat as well!)
