E: 06/01 Win with M&S Advent Calendars (STARTS 01/12!!)

I was in Marks and Spencers today - and yes they have Christmas stuff in:eek:. i thought I would post this now (as you can buy the calendars already) - but it doesnt start until December 1st!!

On their advent calendars they were advertising their competition for Christmas. Basically each advent calendar will have a unique code, which you can enter online between the 1st December and 6th January.

On the 7th January the big draw will take place with the following prizes:

10 x 40" Sony Bravia TVs
100 x 16gb iPod Nanos
100 x Nintendo Wii's

    Prizes consist of;
    10 Sony 40” TVs, 100 Apple iPod Nano 16GB and 100 prizes of a Wii Console.
    The prize draw is open to persons aged 18 years and over, resident in the UK, Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland.
    Employees and the immediate families of the Marks and Spencer Group of Companies (or any other company connected with this promotion) are not eligible to enter the prize draw.
    All entrants need a unique code to enter found on the inside window of 24th December on the advent calendar. Each code can only be used once. A separate code must be used for each entry. No purchase necessary for Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland – please see below.
    Entries into the draw are limited to two per person
    To enter the draw simply go to www.marksandspencer.com/advent and register your unique code.
    Go online to https://www.marksandspencer.com for details of our privacy policy.
    All entries must be received by 11.59pm on 6th Jan 2010. The prize draw will be held on 7th January 2010 and will be supervised by an independent person.
    Prizes must be accepted as offered, there are no alternatives. Only one prize per person will be awarded. The promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or higher value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
    Prize winners will be notified via email or telephone by 30th Jan 2010. The notification will include details of how the prize can be claimed. If a prize remains unclaimed for more than 1 calendar month after notification was sent a further prize draw will take place for that prize.
    The names and counties of the prize winners will be available by sending a stamped addressed envelope within one month after the draw to: Advent Calendar Prize Draw, Marks and Spencer plc, 35 North Wharf Road, Waterside House, 2nd floor West, London, W2 1NW.
    We reserve the right to feature photographs and the names and counties of prize winners in future publications and publicity. Winners may also be required to take part in promotional publicity including a photographic shoot and an interview.
    The decision of the promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the prize draw. The promoter reserves the right to check the validity of any entry. The promoter is Marks and Spencer plc at the above London address.

    oops no:o I would have bought them - but peeps were giving me funny looks for looking at the Christams stuff as it was!:rotfl:(*I think* they were £1 something - but dont quote me on that!)

    I think they were £2.99, but it says that it finishes early january, so wait for the sales buy a load of them and then enter, that's what I'm going to do!!!!:D

  • I will probably get shouted at for bumping, but I have just bought one of these today. It was £2.99 and there are a selection of different characters on a special stand. Make sure you buy the advents with the red label "Your chance to win, blah, blah". There is apparently a surprise gift behind the Christmas Day window. It is 3 times as big as the other windows, and am really excited as to what it could be :)
    We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

    My little boy had the Simpsons one and got a keyring behind it! Had to try and explain to my 4 year old her M&S Peppa pig one did not get a gift on Christmas Day - oops!
