What next, Landlords say "never better time to buy beer"
In fairness, there's never a bad time to buy beer.....;)“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

I am really considering posting a linky over on HPC to some of our friends (Hamish ) postings.0

Please do, it drives traffic from their website over to here every time someone does it.;)
Although at the moment, they do seem to be a tad busy with all the wailing and gnashing of teeth as they realised they missed the bottom.:D
Some truly delightful "bear in despair" threads over there lately.:T“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

I'd rather have bear in despair, or bull in despair, rather than your current trend of pure dillusion.0 -

People would take your proclamations of delusion more seriously if you at least knew how to spell it....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Can I make a kind of standing order response to any of Hamish's threads? Whatever it is that he posts, just assume that my response will be that it's nonsense. This will hopefully prevent me from getting early onset RSI.0

To be fair, endless postings of either positive / negative news tends to turn people off. Hamish's constant postings of constant positivity means I tend to ignore pretty much all of them, in the same way I never really used to read any of Brit's articles on here when he posted a almost constant diatribe of negativity and poorly written pieces on BTL and the downfall of the economy.
When a poster who doesn't often post a link actually does post one, I'm more inclined to read as it is presumably something that's caught their eye and thought it was worth posting for others to read. I don't care if it's a 'bull' or 'bear' story.
Bascially, nice mix of articles, positive and negative, from a wide-variety of posters would increase decent discussion, in my humble opinion of course.
Hamish: is there any chance of a bit of quality control? I'm always grateful for people starting threads, especially as I'm a bit lazy for doing it, but posting so many every day probably just means that people start ignoring them and very much seeing you as a one-trick pony. Surely you must read some pessimistic or negative articles that are interesting, well-written and might be of interest to others?0 -

Are you accusing mewbie of teabagging?0 -
Recent rises in values don't make any sense. Unemployment going up still, wait until the tax rises kick in, fuel going up, wait until interest rates rise, then people will be !!!!!!ed for scraping the barrel just to buy that still overpriced little UK house.
Seems like many of the people buying are BTLers who never seem to learn their lesson, again attempting to price FTBers out again.0 -

Note to self, not to post rude words after being on the sauce.
Incidently there was a drunk second had car salesman chatting up the barmaid last night. Was it you?
