Earring back stuck in ear

Stompa

Mrs Stompa has somehow managed to get an earring back stuck in her pierced ear lobe. She does this periodically and usually manages to extract it with a needle or the pointy end of some scissors (before anybody says so I've already told her that's a really silly idea but she never listens!).
Anyway, this time she can't get it out. Does anybody know any clever tricks that might work, or am I right in thinking that she'll have to see the doc?
Thanks

Blimey!!
Anyway....lay in a warm bath with ears below the water line & let ears puff up & wrinkle in water which should dislodge it, or at least make it loose enough to wriggle out, I've had to do this a couple of times. Oil in the bath might help?Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
