Avent newborn starter set

Avent newborn starter set- I bought this from my local Tesco , it was reduced from £19.50 to £9.50. I thought this was really good as it contains 4 bottles ( 2 sml ones), 1 bottle brush, 1 dummy and about 8 teats (size 1 and 2). Worked out cheaper than if I bought 2 bottles on there own.

I was hoping to get these at the baby event next week, this set is really cheap- have you seen the price of Avent teats lately!?! £4.50 just for 2 teats!! :eek: Sorry but its 5 years since I has my second child and cant believe the price of stuff these days (god, I sound so old....)

Yes, it was that one. I know what you mean about prices, I have nearly an 8 year gap!

if you can risk leaving it until after the asda baby event they sell off the things even cheaper, i got the newborn set for £5 and a breast pump for £5 after the asda baby event had finished and this wasn't a big store but most of the larger stores will have more stock left.

Bless my sister brought me one of these too at the weekend. And a set for her too....we're 4 days apart!!! : )

she's a first time mum, but me I have the 5 year gap like a previous poster, so alot of bits need to buy again.

thanks for the picture, as I had no idea what it was, just knew it was a fab price when she told me. She was going to take her's back as she brought something else that had 6 bottles in it too. Told her no no no keep it at that price, YOU WILL USE THEM.

Doubt my Tescos have reduced these.
They dont even reduce the meat until its evolved & walking out of the shop!!

"Please note our recent £5 Gift Voucher promotion within our Mamas & Papas spring/summer 2009 catalogue has now ended."

Did you get the gift voucher in the current Autumn/Winter catalogue??

Hi, I just got my Autumn/Winter catalogue today and there was a £5 gift card with it. Ordered a couple of days ago. Can be used instore on online. HTH
