    BT told me it keeps cutting out as its 'censoring', whatever that means,, I'm not sure any of the sites I visit need censoring lol

    Re: the cutouts. I honestly found that the only time I ever lost synch with this modem was due to the awful quality of the BT phone lines. Getting them to admit that was a different matter altogether though.
    It was only after a lot of frustrated phonecalls that we finally got an engineer out and he found a bad connection in the crappy underground aliminium cables that supply my place. Strangley enough we never had a problem with drop outs after that even though BT insisted all along that there was no faults on the line
