O2 Online Scam - Part II

Hello everyone,
I posted a thread some years ago (listed below) regarding an 02 online mobile phone account that I had a 12 month contract with. The contract ended in February 2005 but a default was placed on my experian credit file for £24.96 which also shows as satisfied in late November of that year!
I knew nothing of this and explained why I had found it hard to obtain credit for even small items..... I tried to get it removed and sent a letter after obtaining a template from another site. Amazingly they claim that a notification was put on the online account and that I would have seen it had I logged on! Why would I log on 8 months after the contract (which was rubbish) ended.... I was also told by 02 Online in February that I owed no money and even remember (was long time ago) talk that I was owed a small refund.
Now my credit score with Experian is currently good.... 900 points but the default means that things such as a Mortgage will require an underwritter to go through and little credit items will be certainly knocked back until it leaves my history in November 2011.
I wish to try again and get this removed, I know that the 02 Online no warning default scam has happened to many people and that it has been on the BBC programme Watchdog.
Please advise as to what I can do.... I need to force this from my history - it is wrong and has pushed me into a kind of sub-prime cat for many years wrongly altering my life.
I can't attach links to the images as I am a fairly new user....
Please help...
Please offer some advice on my next plan of action.
Thanks so much in advance
