GPS system for £235 inc VAT

Hello

Makro are doing another new Medion GPS car system from 5th Jan.
There is not much info on the GPS system. But the advert says it is half price from £399!
I have found a link on ebay for it here.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1498&item=5741350741&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
If you have any more info please post.
Looks a good buy though.

I haven't seen this one before, I have the Medion PDA with Navteq GPS as sold in Aldi and can't fault it and can't live without it now.

General opinion is Navteq software is better than Tom Tom software, at £235 it's a steal, buy it, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it.
    Nice to save.

    Link says £300 now :(
The link above is too eBay, not Makro and I think was only supplied to show us which model it is and how much it is being sold for on eBay.

    Just bought myself one.
1st impressions. It looks quite good. I looked at the Tom Tom on Sunday and this seems to have all (or most) of the same options.
Comes with 256 MMC and 64mb intergrated.
    All Connections and carbike kit.
Headphones, although the speaker seems loud.
Hope this helps. Looks good for the price though.
I noticed PC world are doing it for £299 (web exclusive)

would this type of system be easily transportable and is it good for short distances? (we do multi drop deliveries and when we have a relief driver they can get very confused).
If this is in the wrong place .............. sorry!
