Yep, I am lucky indeed, but it comes at a price; to be debt free in 12 weeks I would have to put every penny of my surplus income into overpaying on my loan, meaning no life
But at the end of those 12 weeks, a much better life!!! New Year, new start, clean slate :j

12 weeks - that's fab!
Start a 'Clear my debts in 12 weeks!' diary, and commit yourself to it, rather than talking yourself out of it. We'll all be cheering you on!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Just think how amazing its going to be when you're out of debt!
Loads of your money that you spend on debt now can go onto having fun!
You've just got to make a small sacrifice now to get out of the debt a bit quicker, well worth it!
Good luck!

I agree with everyone here. I would just do it. 12 weeks of being skint (out of choice!) will be totally worth it.

yea you're right, it's just a case of having no money to myself for 12 weeks. The only change will be having to sacrifice going out on a weekend, but as i proved to myself this weekend, it can be done. Plus, if i'm staying in, i wont have to go out buying new clothes to go out in, so its kind of killing 2 birds with one stone. i've just got keep focused on the reason im doing this: to start 2010 with a clean slate, no debt, money in my pocket and the ability to save towards things i want without worrying about having to throw money towards debt.
ive been in debt since i was about 18, so thats 7 years!!! cant wait to be free :jTotal in ISAs = £8,863.500
