Im so fed up with capital one im doing my own DMP i filled in a income & expenditure which i printed off from the national debt helpline and sent it to all my creditors everyone accepted apart from cap one after them phoning me a million times i suddenly started to get letters from debris (im thinking they are part of capital one ) they wanted me to fill in capital ones own income & expenditure so i did but on advice from many people on here i didnt sign it. I have now got another letter saying im ignoring them:mad: ive explained im not ive sent back there income & expenditure but there saying i have to phone cap one on monday they dont think that they will accept my plan without me signing it .What do i say on monday why i will not sign anything ? I would just like to add i have been continuing to send them £15 per month even though they say its not enough so i woundnt say ive been ignoring them .

Hi susieanne
You don't need to sign it and you don't need to speak to them by telephone. Make sure you send correspondence by recorded delivery so you have some proof that you have sent them something and are therefore not ignoring them.
There is a letter about only communicating with you in writing, I will see if I can find it (there used to be a template letters thread)£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
