wh smith - free £5 book voucher

wh smith have a promotion on, if u spend £5 you will get a £5 book voucher.

only snag is that when you come to redeem the voucher , the book u purchase will have to be over £10, which isn't too bad i suppose.
i.e. if u buy a £10 book u will get it for half price.

where is the 'no spend required' part of this? is there a code to get these vouchers etc - sorry if i'm being dim.

Where did you hear about the promotion and the vouchers. Is there something showing in the shop? I was in WH Smith saturday and spent over a fiver but did not receive anything. Didnt see the promotion either
However I am going there again on monday to use the free £2.50 Clubcard Points again.

there were large posters in shop window and around store on thursday.
i enquired at desk, hoping that i could buy one book for about £6 and get another copy for £1. so i asked assistant who told me that i had to spend £10 to use the voucher for £5 off.

sorry for posting on wrong board.
vouchers are being given out now and can be used at a later date, sometime in June she said. cant remember exact date

This offer is instore only. However it would seem that not all branches have the offer advertised on the shop window for some reason, so it may be only select branches?

Voucher is valid from 22nd May to 11th June and is valid on any SINGLE book over £10 (you cannot combine books). Cannot be used in conjunction with Buy One Get One Half Price book offer.

You are right, it is only in a few selected branches. I checked today. It's a shame since I do spend quite a lot of money in there it would have come in handy.
