It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

  • do you think that's the furthest you'll run or shall we be waiting for a post saying you've signed up for the marathon next year:D?

    Good luck BTW!

My sis's other half is trying to pressure me into doing a marathon!

Having said that, if someone had said last year that I'd be doing a half marathon this year I'd have told them to pizzle off!

  • He will truly go to heaven as he's just done his annual good deed...another skippers 20yr old daughter was mugged last night in BKK and relieved of her mobile/cash etc......Dad (back home in UK) was worried and put out an SOS for someone out there to check up on her, so he has volunteered to be her surrogate Dad on the scene while she gets sorted out....bless!! (And no comments about ulterior motives with 20yr olds please!)
