HI Nikki
Yes you can freeze cauliflower and broccoli - just treat them the same - blanch, bag and freeze.
As for recipes - cauliflower and broccoli cheese is lovely with breadcrumbs on top - think cauliflower cheese only with brocolli too. I have had it in a cafe - nice with bread and salad.
Otherwise - cauliflower goes great in vegetable curry and broccoli makes a good soup with stilton cheese.
That should sort out the problem

Cheers for the ideas. I did think of a chicken & brocolli lattice but i havn't gotta clue where to start. I think ill just freeze the stuff the now until i have some divine inspiration lol.
Next question ... whats blanching?0 -
blanching is where you put veg in boiling (not salted) water for just a minute. drain well - cool - before bagging and freezing0

I just prepare (cut into florets) and freeze in a bag. Then put straight into boiling water when I want to use them!Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
