He means that rather than move in with the BF and act as a true couple, move back to parents and claim benefits whilst still having the good part of the relationship without any of the financial responsibility. That would depend on how long the relationship had been in force.0

I thought Buffykins meant something more profound than that - can see now I was wrong.
I think that people can be a "true couple" without necessarily shacking up together. I just think that all the to -ing and fro -ing are going to cost more than the £50 a week she's going to get.

Sorry, am not good at profound. Yeah I simply meant that living under your parents roof with JSA for a bit of pocket money sounded like far more fun than trying to pay rent and bills out in the real world.
If I were the OP then it makes far more sense for his partner to be living elsewhere while she job hunts. If I recall rightly there's a set number of nights she can spend at his without it counting as living there? Should give her more than enough time to throw out CVs etc in person.0 -
