Okay the usual blurb from ebuyer..."we made a mistake"...said I can buy it at £135....still a good price but not good enough for an impulse buy.

Hmm I'm not sure what to do. I ordered early on Sunday after a brief surf for reviews and info, it seems from reviews that it's a nice camera but the wifi implementation is pretty flaky. That said wifi always seems to give people problems.

At £104 it was a steal but at £135 I'm not so sure. Note this "proper" price is still £23 less than anyone else seems to be selling at and I noticed somewhere was selling "refurbished" P2s. Given my own experience of Ebuyer selling "refurbished" or customer returns as new I would suggest caution. At £104 I was willing to take a risk but at £135 I don't feel keen.

Don't forget the £135 price quoted will be without VAT

Ebuyer are selling a Nikon 5.2 megapixel camera that has WiFi for just less than £135 inclusive of VAT (model - Coolpix P2). Postage for this item is free! Looks like a real bargain to me since other retailers are selling this for around £200. It also has good reviews - see here.

As I am writing, only 2 left in stock so grab it quick!

I've got a feeling the stock level is going to go up. I posted this camera as a missprice on Saturday night (£104 delivered). 24 were in stock then. I assume others are going to cancel their order like I did. Not saying it's a good or bad camera but I'd have preferred it at £104.
Ye'!, And!!?. How am I supposed to know?

I expect there are none actually in stock.

A recent order of mine was refunded due to no stock even though I was able to place an order.

Stock control systems are rarely 100% accurate, as they do not take into account theft from premises, and human error.

LOL Are you suggesting Ebuyer are doing some exotic VAT fiddle?

I've ordered one so I'll just wait and see. Looks like a solid spec from a reputable manufacturer for the money and if I don't like it or see something better I'll send it back for a refund.

    Cheers for the tipoff Mantisgeek.

Nope, just that the email they sent informing that it was a missprice stated the missprice price at £88.something (comes in at £104 with VAT) and the correct price at £135...so it stands to reason the £135 would have excluded VAT otherwise the email would have stated the missprice being £104
