Which one to buy 32" LCD TV Sony KDL3252010 or 32" Panasonic TX32LXD60?

Hi

I am after a LCD TV.

I am deciding on either a KDL3252010 32" Sony or a Panasonic 32" TXlxd60.

These are both £1295 from John lewis with a 5 year gtee. Although the panasonic is £1011 as I think theymust be price matching someone local.

Does anyone have either of these and which should I go for?

I am not a hi tech person so only want to watch TV, use my telewest box and link to my DVD/CD player.

Any ideas please?

Thanks

Personally i'd get the sony, ever so slightly larger screen (1cm) better contrast ratio, a better sound system and overall i believe that you will get an overall better viewing experience with the sony.

Personally I would make sure I had read the Samsung thread on the grabbit board before I considered either of these! :D (I have a Sony 42" and a Samsung 26" and think the Samsung is far better value for money - if I wanted a 32" I would definitely go with this offer).
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

Have a look at the current Which? Report - it has a review of televisions, including a useful comparison table.

    Thank you all

With regard to which I am a member and had a look, but as usual it is always behind and the models have moved on a bit since then.

Thanks for the note re quidco, I was not aware.

Thanks for the AV forum as well, I am still going through that.

Both JL and Bentalls recommended the Panasonic as per my thread and hence the question. i
