any sauce's? I have quite a collection lurking in the back of my cupboard, and just wondered if it could be used for any other thing apart from drinking.
Any thoughts or recipes please and thanks.

Hi, Demented,
I use tomato juice (Tesco value) for soups.I find it a bit too wet for sauces-I prefer pasatta for that.I don't have any specific recipes.I just add a carton to soup ,usually with some stock or water too. It's best for beany or meaty soups I find, but also excellent in a mediterranean style fish soup.Or,you couls make tomato soup with it!

Gazpacho:
1 carton tom juice
1 large cucumber
2 or 3 cloves of garlic
1 big carton natural yoghurt.
Peel the cucumber, slice in half lengthways, and scoop out any seeds. Puree in FP with the garlic (add more or leave out according to taste).
Mix tom juice, yoghurt and pureed cucumber together, and season to taste. Serve cold with crusty rolls.
If you'd rather have hot soup, bring the tomato and cucumber mixture to boiling point first, then take off the heat and stir in the yoghurt. If I'm over the hill, where was the top?0
