WOW, such scientific rigour, no wonder daddytroll is convinced.
The rest of us will no doubt continue to take it with a very large pinch of salt.....:D
isn't DaddyBear the hyper inflationist from HPC.co.uk - the one that's expecting a Weimar Republic style inflationary economy?0 -
can you explain how it points to falling house prices?
Sorry this is a non-explanation Friday !!!
The OP won't explain how it points to lower house prices, cos he know's it doesn't, just as Hamish can't explain why I'm poorer, cos he know's I'm not !!!!'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
Look, the bvulls themselves have been predicting the next downwave. It will happen, its just a question of when. Its the one I intend to buy into because I will have my 40% deposit by then.0

but, but, but for your downwave - it may mean a 10% increase in house prices since February 2009 and then 8% down in the first half of 2010.
would it really have been worth waiting an extra year and then having to pay higher mortgage repayments. with the exception for those increasing their deposits even for many of these the maths doesn't add up
just a thought...0 -

Can't argue with that.
I reckon the sweet spot will be Q1 2010.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

For many you are correct, but it'll be close enough as makes little difference.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Yes, that's the one.
He's been surprisingly right about many things so far, but as he's now calling for inflation, and buying of houses to protect against it, the hpc lynch mob have turned on him and are now accusing him of being a "stealth bull" and a troll.
This poster is not the real daddybear. It's just a troll from hpc trying to be funny.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

most people have said this so whay are people now saying do they want a chocolate watch as a prize?
I didn't predict anything but can I have the chocolate watch?
Apparently I need one to show I am a better person, obviously the chocolate watch would need to be made of the ultra best chocolate money can buy and be worth over a grand. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Found this. This auction house covers large parts of East Anglia. Interesting trend.

Odd how it goes against the article.
http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/mortgages-and-homes/house-prices/article.html?in_article_id=490530&in_page_id=57&position=moretopstoriesThe most recent figures from auction specialists the Essential Information Group, which compiles results of all UK property auctions, showed 73% of lots sold in July.
This compares to 61% in the same month last year and was slightly higher than the 71% rate in June.
Looks like that place could be in trouble.0
