Nearing end of DMP - but debt has been sold on

Hello
Thankfully today I received my letter from the CCCS confirming I only have two months left. After a 4 year repayment scheme, I;m thrilled........apart from one detail.
Two of the debts were with Halifax - one credit card and an overdraft debt. I was happily paying my DMP to the original two creditors Robinson Way and Buchanan Clark. However, its now transpired that they sold the debt on to other companies, but dont appear to have told said companies that I have a DMP in place. Therefore it looks like I still owe the debt.
How do I even start trying to solve this problem? Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

Are they chasing you for payment?
If so i would suggest writing to them stating that you have been on a DMP with CCCS for the last 4 years and have only 2 payments left to make. If this does not tally with the data they hold they should get in touch with the creditors for confirmation that a debt remains outstanding and how much this is.
Check with whoever you have been making payments to that you have no longer to pay them and that the debt has been asigned to a new DCA. I would also advise that once you make the final payments you get written confirmation that the debt has been paid off. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110
