I read in a magazine if you have ti wear a uniform to work you boss provides you with , you can get reduceed tax rate for the cleaning of it all year savin up to £70 any one know more baout this?

Try a search this has been covered several times.
If your a member of a union you may find an existing agreement betweeen the union and hmrc for members to claim fixed allowances.

Go to www.hmrc.gov.uk and search for fixed rate deductions. If your job is there, you can contact your tax office and ask to be given the expense deduction relative to your job. If your job is not there, you need to make a claim to HMRC for the cleaning of the uniform - make your claim reasonable and it will be accepted. You can claim back up to 6 yrs and you need to ask for a payable order (cheque), NOT a code change.
