Mad had one of those weekends you only ever dream of. Nope it weren't a coupon rush or a 7-1 away win. Went to the local pub to watch the footie scores and me mates were there me family were there and we all had such a laugh. Me daughter said "I love you so much Dad". Jesus, I thought, she's seen me moc's in me back pocket! We all hugged kissed and cried together. Tried to tell everyone about T's coupon policy and all I got was yawns! Anyhoo that was Mads w/e. All of Mads pals (you know who you are) have gotta start posting......plz xxxxx

Mad, you're soooo luvverly, always there to cheer us up when we need it. Glad you had a great week-end with family and friends, you deserve it.

yes it is right - my T do not follow National Policy and state Store Managers discretion due to abuse - it is 5 coupons at my T rather that a blanket ban
Just want to also say Hello to Bullshot if she is lurking

seems like something is afoot this week. my local store had a meeting friday morning to decide whether to change the coupon policy in our store or not, no outcome as of yet, guess i'll find out tomorrow. but they carried on taking any number of coupons over the weekend so who knows, they haven't put a stop to it immediately...yet. i've been geared up for ages for them changing their policy as every other tesco anywhere near seemed to change it but my one never did. well see what happens i guess.
    Won't buy nuffink without a discount :p

Nope, don't worry Swannee, it's just the usual rumours IMHO.

I've visted a Metro and a larger store today and all mocs taken no problems.

How has a nice Cornish gal heard of places like Alfreton, Ilkeston etc. in the land-locked Midlands? We can't do cream teas like you though, but we do have Bakewell Pudding! ;)

I love bakewell tart. My late mum used to make them when I was little. Yummy.

Awww...I am not going to the GFS but hopefully some nice peeps will swap mocs with me again on PTS in due course! ;)

BTW, if any of you buy 'kids magazines' at all then pick up a new Magazine Week leaflet from the newspaper area of your Tesco and try out the 3 for 2 offer on 'all childrens magazines'. I wonder if there's a DTD possibility if any kids mags won't work for the offer? I haven't noticed the offer on the shelves (haven't looked TBH! :o).

Also the leaflet (I found mine instore today) has plenty of mocs for certain mags (Tesco specific so no room for abuse thank goodness). Offers and mocs posted in full here on the magazine thread but I thought it was worth a heads up here too. Linky to the mag thread:
