Anyone got a good recomendation for a printer that prints coupons (Smart coupons and couponnet barcodes etc) in good enough quality to be scanned?

My canon ip2600 seems to always have really cruddy barcodes so i worry it wont scan lol.

Im hoping to get one from Mr T's but i like to refill the ink myself using the tesco value ink refill kits.

Anyone got experience? i.e lexmark etc?

I use a small Epson with continuous ink flow system, costs about 0.01p per page
yes 10 sheets for a penny in ink
    got it here

    hope this helps

  • Evening all,
Slightly disappointed - went shopping and picked up the 12 roll pack of Andrex Toilet Paper and then logged onto their website to print off my £1.86 Wipes coupon. Unfortunately it looks as though you have to buy the item because the barcode ends in 0006. I was hoping to be able to use it on something else. Has anyone else had any good rewards?

Neas, you will find that ink cartridges wear out! i.e. the holes in the cartridge get bigger the more you use them thus giving you poor quality prints. why not use some coupons to buy a new cartridge and ONLY refill once

Hi, does anyone know if Tesco stocks the new Kingsmill loaf? It doesn't come on .com for me and waitrose doesn't sell it. Thanks.

Good morning all - managed to get another (unique) Guinness off DD1's account - only printed 1 though as per rules. I will check if DD2is old enough later . Happy MOCing :D
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D
  • Got trouted last night - new rule only one coupon per item . As i wanted to buy some clothes i only had 2 items came to £30 odd:eek: . i said to the supervisor i will leave my shopping here and get some more things and then can i use as many coupons as i like ?
Oh yes thats fine she said.
went and bought 10 x7p jelly and 10 x 7p custard powder ( i havent seen anything cheaper and couldnt be bothered to look ) .
So for a £1.40 spend on rubbish i then put through all my coupons and got the lot for £2.:j
so there are always round the new made up rules.
She said it was to stop anyone going upstairs and buying a printer with a load of coupons ( felt like saying thats a good idea i need a new printer )
    - come on own up who would do a thing like that !
So if you want a printer you know what to do he !he! he!

I tried that... I bought a new canon PG40... put it in and it looks worse than the PG39 I got with the printer... more smudges. Am going to see if the coupons stilll work with it. At 16 quid a cartridge pretty expensive when it dont even scan lol.

Same new rule applies in my t's - if you use 15 coupons you've got to buy at least 15 items. I buy 9p shortbread to donate to my lad's footie team to have with half time coffee we sell to parents. 15p packs of 10coloured crayons to donate to scout's xmas Market! Posting this from my new iPhone which is completely fab!
