Hello Guys
Just a few questions. My DMP is getting started had my welcome pack etc
I have had a few replies from creditors i just have a few queries.
* Barclays termination notice - states debt being passed over as my suggested repayment amount wont allow the debt to be repayed in an acceptable period of time.
1. Has anyone had any dealing with Barclays collections inhouse or DCA.
2. Barclays have sent me a termination notice but the balance is wrong. I have double checked this today - do i need to write to them about this and if so is there anything important i need to state in my letter.
* RBS have accepted repayment plan but will be sending a default. This is ok as they have agreed to freeze interest.
1. Will they still charge me late payment / not meeting minimum payment after the default . Should i be writing to them about this to ask them to freeze charges as well?? The reason I ask is because they have charged me £12 on the 31.08.09 but think this may be before they accepted the repayment plane, but want to check before i write to them.
Thanks in advance , i am getting really worried that i haven't made the right decision now !!

If you are unsure, it is best to write to them to enquire - that way you at least have it all in writing should you need it. Just ask them to confirm the amount owed and that they ae freezing both interest and charges.
I don't know if there is anything you need to write about the termination notice, but you should probably ask for a statement or breakdown of where their figure comes from as this is not what you understand the balance to be.After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
