I was not very patient doing mine - I just slapped the paint on! The pine was not very shiny so it went on well. No primer, just two coats of emulsion.
I will do a picture later. Well done to all. I am still boring my work colleagues about my sucess.0 -
How do you post photos - I cant seem to do it? Pls help0

You need to get a flickr account, or photobucket. Upload your photo to your account, then each pic has its own url and you use that when you post on here.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

wow that looks great! I do an interior design course where we do up old furniture its amazing how different you can make it look....I overhauled a broken chest of drawers (top drawer was broken) so I took it out put a shelf in and baskets, other drawers fine, basically done it cream with a brushed effect and painted top fake mahogany...put new handles on, cheap pine ones that I painted to also look like mahogony...it looks great and would otherwise have gone to tip.0

we have learnt how to do fake granite, fake wood allsorts, those type of courses well worth getting onto, they are usually run by local colleges and fairly cheap for parents, people out of work etc0
