Question on Credit Reference File

Hello
I have received today my statutory credit file (£2.00) from a credit reference agency. Within, there is a "CIFAS Filings" entry. It mentions an unknown individual (for whom we have in the past received letters but which we ignored or forwarded to the previous tenants) who apparently used our postal address to apply for a personal current account with a building society (which we have no dealings with at all). The entry finishes with "Type Of Case: (04) Application fraud - refused".
Could someone offer some advice on whether something needs to be done? Should I perhaps contact CIFAS or the building society? Should I contact the reference agency, perhaps to ad a note(?) to the file?
Any advice would be welcome.
Many thanks,
SM

I don't think you need to do anything, but i would contact the credit reference agency if unsure. They will be able to tell you what the entry means and if you need to do anything. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
