what kind of crystal do i need for my shoes?

im having my dress made by a friend of a friend
and im going up next wk to have my first measurements :o
and would think it best to take my shoes up with me so the dress length is right
i cant wear flats nor sky sraper's but i have to have some heel 2-3"
my question is
i want these shoes but to dear for me so im going to buy some silver shoes and put my own crystals on but which ones and were do i get them and which is the best glue

as any one done this

  • Hiya. There is a really good thread on youandyourwedding about this, with pics and instructions. The OP used hot fix crystals (available quite cheaply on eBay) and a heat gun. Here is the link:

    I know! I wanted to copy her (and she inspired lots of YAYW brides to do so too) but I just don't know if I have the patience to glue hundreds of crystals on one by one! Here is a link to pics of the ones she did:

    as long as they stick to my nails not my toes :eek:
  • i made my little girls one, i bought a hot fix wand from ebay for £15 and about 1000 crystal hot fix that way tehy heat up from the back, i did have apic all have alook
