  • Better still they do FUNFARES. Where if you pick the right combination of route and time they start at £1. However you may well shriek that they don't stop at your chosen destination??? Well here's the sneaky part. Just get off the coach!

I wanted to go Taunton to Heathrow, which would have been £18. However Taunton to London Victoria was £1. A quick check shows it's the same route and would in fact call at Heathrow, so when it did I just got off the bus one stop early!

Likewise, if the funfare doesn't start at your desired location, consider topping it up with a single fare for the stop(s) in between.

    I now regularly do Devon to Buckinghamshire for 2 x £1 funfares plus a £4.40 single :-)
  • golddustmedia - How do you know the route of the bus? Very interested in this for my upcoming trip to Gatwick but not sure if its feasible... any more info much appreciated! Penny
