Euroffice Discount Rip-Off

Have you been tempted by adverts and emails from Euroffice offering "20% off your first order" or "30% off until Monday" or like the one that i received this morning "10% off selected Canon products for 3 days" ?
Well just be cautious when using their discount codes.
Look in the small print and you'll see the crucial text "applies only to the items in your basket with a green tick"
The items with a green tick are those that are not already discounted... fair enough you might think, but where are they?

 EUROFFICE RIP OFF No.1
I was looking for A4 paper and thought that maybe Canon brand paper with the extra 10% off might be good value . There were 151 paper items in total and had I put them all in my basket, only ONE would have the necessary "green tick" and that was the item with the most over-inflated RRP that i have seen in a long time(£78.99 for 5 reams of paper!!!)
If I had bought that paper, then a 10 or 20% discount wouldnt be any good, in fact I'd have needed to have a massive 80% discount code to reduce the price of the paper down to about £15 (being what you can buy the same item for elsewhere)
The Canon brand paper by the way I couldnt use the Canon discount voucher on, and it would have been more than double the price elsewhere!

The other trick that Euroffice do is not to over-inflate the RRP price but knock off 1 or 2 %, making it an item that has already been discounted so therefore no green tick, so again your 10/20/30% discount voucher wont work.
Canon E30 toner cartridge RRP £95.21 (not too bad i suppose) but then they had discounted it by 2% to £92.99 meaning no green tick and again I wouldnt get the 10% off that I was lured onto their website by. After adding on Euroffice's VAT to their final price, and quidcos 11% rebate, it would still be over £20 cheaper to buy this from Amazon with no discount and no quidco!
What a total swizz.
I really hate the way that Euroffice tries to pull the wool over its customers eyes. Does it think that we're all stupid or something. If there were rules regarding how much can be quoted as RRP then they wouldnt be able to get away with it!
