Oooh that is fab. I have always tried looking for their wedding/plain iced cakes in M&S and never found them!
Unforch my wedding date is too far away to get them now or i'd snap them up!!0 -
The 3 for 2 offer ends on 30th september 2009. I was told this when i ordered mine 9 weeks ago. I managed and xl fruit, large sponge and medium fruit for £55 with the three for two plus a gift card i had been given months ago and not used.
If buying the fruit it wil last a long time kept in an unopened box for those worried about dates and such.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Should be more than ok but if you think its getting dry you can flip it over to reveal the fruit cake and tip in a couple of caps of whisky/brandy to keep it moist making sure you dont overdo it as it will stain the icing if it goes through.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

I doubt they would cos i make a rich fruit cake with brandy for xmas and top it up every two weeks till i want to marzipan and ice it. The strength of the alcohol dissapears and you dont really notice it in the cake when you eat it.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

It says on the site that the fruit will be ok for 14 days before eating and the sponge 5 days.
I priced them up on the site and the XL was £55, the L was £38 and the M was £22, are they on sale in store at the moment?
I know they're on 3 for 2, but those are still the prices online?
I'ma dozy cow, the prices above for the XL was for fruit and the L and M were for sponge, probs why the difference in price, doh!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0
