signed a loan agreement for wrong amount!!

In January we ordered our kitchen and took up the option of the 0% finance for a year, start paying in 6 months. With Lloyds Black horse.
We paid £300 deposit on a credit card and put the rest on the finance deal.
The letter came reminding us of the start date and the monthly amount payable. This didnt seem quite right so i looked at the paperwork and to my horror, from their workings it is quite correct, on the original paperwork that my husband signed in the shop the guy had put that we had not paid any deposit. My husband signed it obviuosly not reading or noticing the wrong amont ( grrrrrrr!!!!! wait till he gets home!!!)
Obviously he will have to call them but what hope do we have of getting it resolved? I cant seem to find a receipt for the deposit , although I will keep looking, I would think we could get another statement from the credit card company with the transaction on , but do you think we will get our £300 back?

  • Your on a 0% interest deal correct? if that is the case, providing they deduct the £300 which you have already paid in the form of a deposit off of the loan amount, then all will be well.

Inform the company that took the deposit, they are legally obligated to keep transaction records so should have a record of this, also as you say, contact your Credit Card company and get them to issue a statement for this deposit.
