Free Range Halal chicken?

I am Muslim and am getting so disgusted with the quality of chicken on offer to us. It is the cheapest, most tasteless meat I have ever eaten._pale_
Does anyone know of free range halal chicken anywhere in the country? We are in Beds, but I would happily try to order from elsewhere. Short of keeping chickens ourselves, which we don't have space for, is there any alternative apart from not eating it at all?

Asda do a range, although not in all stores that are freshly cut, hope this helps0

I did get some in Asda the other day that they had reduced down from about £5.50 /kg, to £2ish, so I grabbed those and froze them. They are a bit better than the other stuff I normally buy, but still not great quality.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Not sure if you saw the panorama program that showed halal chicken being injected with pork protein to fatten them up quicker. What is it with everyone, its all profit profit profit for the fat cats at the top, never mind messing about with nature, all i have to say is mad cow disease should have been a wake up call to those greedy moneymakers, im sure they lost lots of money having their cattle culled, when you mess with nature it has a habit of biting you on the back side when you least expect it.And yes the lady in the avatar is me

try lidl, im sure they do them0

I've never seen halal meat in Lidl? Maybe it's only selected stores.
Why don't you try your nearest Asian supermarket type thing? I go there quite often with OH's mum, she buys her halal chicken and other meats from there. Also do good prices on veg, rice etc.
Also Costco do halal chicken breasts, not sure if they are free range, but OH's mum likes them. Can't remember the price but I'm thinking it's between £15-£20, but you get over 12 breasts, perhaps quite a few more than that. Just trying to remember! They do offers on it sometimes too, she got it for about £14 last time.0 -
The problem is I know where to buy halal meat. I live in Luton, so no problems there. What I want is decent meat.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

I might give them a try next time I'm up that way. Thanks.
I'm still longing to try a free range chicken, however.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

These folks aren't cheap but I have seen it argued that non free range chicken can't really be said to be halal as they aren't 'healthy' before they are killed:

That's exactly what I have been looking for....Thank you so much. Mind you, the prices are a bit steep, between £13-19 for 1 chicken!!!! Maybe that's in line with what you would expect to pay for a non-halal free-range or organic chicken, is it?
Maybe we will treat ourselves for Eid inshallah.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
