Hi Peeps,
I was wondering if it is best to order my hoop with my dress from Landy, of if anyone knows somewhere cheaper?
I am having an A-line skirt, and am unsure as to how many hoops is best? Any ideas GREATLY appreciated!

Hi there, I got mine from Ebay for £12, The net is really thick and gives a lovely shape to my dress. I can't think of the seller right now, but if you put a line petticoat into ebay it brings up a few options. I asked Linda which one to get out of a few and she helped me get the right one, (star that she is), I'm sure she will be along to help, or someone who ordered one from Landy!

Thanks TigerLilley - £12.00 is a BARGAIN!!! I will have to have a gander, as I searched on there for hooped petticoats and not much came up. SO will have a look.
Did I read you bought a Landy/Milly dress? Did it come with Tulle as well? If you didnt I am going mad ha ha
Thanks for info xxx0 -
Hi there, I got mine form freetimelife on Ebay, It is a Chinese dress but not Landy/Milly. It doesn't have Tulle it is just made from Taffetta! there are a few pics of it knocking about on here, one under the December brides 2009 thread.
I found the seller I got mine from

I really was impressed with the quality and the panel at the top seems quite good for tummy control aswell lol! I think there are quite a few different ones, they might not all have the lycra band at the top.
I took my hoop out as my dress isn't very wide at the bottom, but now I might put it back in only smaller as it adjusts. Good luck and let me know how you get on!

Depends on the style and the weight of the fabric. If it is a basic satin a line, I wouldn't go for any more than 2. Defo get one with net. This reduces the hoop grinning through under the dress. net softens it.
If anything, go for a full net crinoline. Something soft and floaty and far easier to "pee" in.0 -

Thanks for the tip Linda! And as for peeing, I am hoping I will be too nervous all day for it to happen ha ha. If not, yes, I will need practicality lol
