I thought I'd better post this on my own thread too. I originally put it on MG's, she was writing about the 100 day challenge for all of us. This is mine, starting from the point when I made my own 30 day challenge, around a spiritual practice:

Mine isn't back to work, as such. As I said a couple of days ago when I asked for the green feedback, its about setting up a second income stream, as the first has declined and I need to up my pension contributions, which are currently laughable. Though the first 30 day target was to institute a spiritual practice - which will help me be *able* to run two/three income streams, I think!

    So my 100 day goal:

    - make this house (I moved in August) liveable - building work finished, new flooring down.
    - spiritual practice incorporated into everyday life.
    - new office set up to run trading business - the second income stream.
    - draft layout of green website complete - the third income stream.

Ha! I didn't know I had it in me
    :rotfl:Thanks, MG!

EDIT - just a little bit of leftover stuff from the "scrabbling" times:
    1. Pigsback - I have 2,500/3,000 needed for a tenner voucher, blowed if I'm giving that up, don't care how mingy that makes me!
    2. Toluna - I'm 70,000/80,000 to a £15 voucher.
    3. Lightspeed - I'm quite tempted to keep this on - I get very few nowadays anyway, but there's a tag running that gives me 100 pts a month providing I keep going, and it *is* free paypal money, which has proved very handy recently.
    4. YouGov - oh dear. I have £20 in there. I don't like giving that up.
    5. Vir gin scratches - I think I'll keep going for now.
    6. T AB scratches - ditto.

Combining this and a few other recent posts to create a new diary .......

House sitting could be a good one, thats true, I'll have a think about that, it'd certainly be a way to get a good cheap holiday. I was disappointed to miss that hotel thingy over the weekend - I'd have been looking for 3 days in Cambridge, I'm always wittering on about how I've never been to Cambridge, but spent so much time in Oxford .... ah well, I'll keep an eye out.

Glad you're home, Pippi, and calmer yourself (I like the play on words there!).

Not good hearing you're not well still.

Well if you ever want to 'house sit' in this direction just give me a holler :) I've normally alot of notice before I have to yomp off and I've discovered you can fly direct here from LGW - not very green the flying bit - but otherwise I think it takes 2 years by train (only joking):rotfl:

I am calmer - I like home, I don't like not being at home or not getting to potter outdoors - odd really as we lived in OH's flat for 3 years - we had fun but also hated every minute of it.

All the MG stuff sounding fruitful :)

I shall have a serious think about that Pippi, thank you - my only concern would be my own wimpishness about various denizens of the corners, shall we say. The actual animals, I'd love. People who see me with dogs think I'm a dog person :)

  • OK anytime - and i can even be here :) BTW the 'denizens' are we talking rats or spiders - ? Or the cows in the field ....................confuddled...............................

I've a very good dyson they deal with everything don't they when they are fully operational?

denizens = spiders. As long as the cows don't chase me, they're fine!

If we left the door open at both ends of the house - they'd be blown out - actually to be fair this house isn't too bad for them I think not compared with the other house - but maybe I'm just oblivious!

I was wondering if a cow would fit in my dyson - probably not I knew they'd be safe from you as you're veggie and not prone to cownapping - I'm clearly silly and off to bed!!

    Night :) :rotfl:

Morning! Its taken me ages to get going this morning on the laptop - avg released a big update, and it took forever now that this little machine is so full, so I was also pottering about putting the dishwasher on, getting paper ready for the accountant, which *has* to be done soon, blah blah. And I have an hour's paid work today, finally! So I mustn't tire myself out beforehand.

And collating ideas for the new diary :D

Hi Karma - I tried to install the latest AVG update the other day at home, was taking ages and I got annoyed!

Looking forward to the new diary.. might have to do the same with the house move etc.

    Have a good day :)
