It should stop automatically but just to be on the safe side.
If I had the DD come out in error it would cause problems as I have now set up a DD for my credit card for the amount I used to pay to the loan IYSWIM.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I am soooooo upset!!! I double checked the paperwork, originating date of loan and such, and it appears that it's NEXT September that it's done. *sob* I could just cry! Here I was thinking we were out of the woods on that particular loan, and we're not! I did note that we have not requested the PPI refunded though (missold, and I've been meaning to take care of that), so at least I can work on that this week and get it sent in.
How depressing though.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -
Sorry to hear that.

I'll do that - I can't find all the original paperwork that says how much paid for PPI, so I suppose I will have to begin by requesting that from the bank.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

just wanted to say hi and WOW - you are inspirational - 4 kids and as energetic as you come across!
Well done on acknowledging the debts and good luck to the future - will subscribe to your thread.

Mrs T - LOL - Don't know about energetic - more like "frantically trying to get everything done in a very limited time period each day!" And I have to admit, while we have 4 children, 2 of them are grown and mostly just provide annoyance and chaos (although we love them dearly
), our day to day routines mainly involve us and the 2 little ones.
I'm feeling quite pleased with myself. After a huge dig around both freezers (small separate one and fridge/freezer), I did an updated inventory of the contents, and rearranged/altered my meal plan to cover until 19 October, using the stuff from the cupboards and the freezer! :j This means our next grocery shop will mainly consist of: milk, bread, nappies (store brand), formula, carrots, potatoes, eggs, and some fruit. All in all, a pretty good money saver! I may still spend the same amount, just stock up on formula and nappies, so I don't have to buy them next time. I'm just pleased, as I wanted to get the freezers cleared out a bit more, especially with the holidays coming up.
I need to go over my ingredients list for Christmas cake. I was going to make them this weekend, however, DH wants us to get some more DIY done, so I may put it off until next weekend. That's fine - gives me time to organise. I'll probably invite MIL & SIL over that day as well - we can all put on some holiday music, feel festive, drink a little (in the afternoon of course!) and get a little holiday baking done.
I'm still mulling over ways to cut down on the grocery/household expenditure. I think I've got myself moved from disposable kitchen roll to cloth kitchen towels. Now if I can just convince DH! He claims he doesn't want to increase the work I have to do by creating more laundry, but it's not a big deal to wash them, although I appreciate that he was thinking of me.I use half the normal amount (1 pkg) of beef steak mince in things like spag bol, lasagna, and chili. Nobody noticed when I started doing this, so no worries!
I've changed to a store brand laundry detergent, although I am using liquid now instead of powder - the bottles fit in the cupboard (neatly out of sight - unlike the box)
*yawn* ok - baby asleep, toddler asleep - I'm off to bed!MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -
Wow, long night and not much sleep! Think I'll be hitting the coffee quite a bit today! DS3 was up most of the night - I'd like to think that means he'll sleep more during the day today, but I know better.
I've already done my morning rush to get things done:
- bottles washed, sterilised, made
- steriliser fluid changed
- bedding changed (changed both DS2's bed and DS3's cotbed out of necessity, one with poo from an explosive nappy and thankfully one just wet - still potty training that one!) and all the pajamas gathered up for the laundry as well ewwwww
- laundry prewashed, washed, and now hanging to dry
- yesterday's laundry taken down from hanging inside and folded
- washing up done
- general pickup in living room and kitchen
- showered
- general bathroom pickup, emptied bin
Now hopefully I can relax and just attend to the daily schedule of feeding kids and potty training until DS2's naptime, when I can get a bit more cleaning done. The hoovering always has to wait until after DH is up after 4pm, as the noise scares DS2 and it's easier to get it done when one of us can sit with DS2.
Off to make more coffee.......:cool:MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -
Ever have one of those mornings?? Welcome to today!! I've been puked on, wee'd on, pooped on...more than once!! Thank goodness I can still laugh about it...
It's days like this that drive me to retail therapy.... but I'm resisting! I AM going to get through it. I'm determined... and chocolate doesn't hurt, either! :rotfl:MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -
Ahhhh...things a little better now, back under control. That urge to spend money is gone. Whew!
DS2 is upstairs napping, finally having given in to sleep! DS3 just woke up from his nap and has been fed. I've managed to heat up a tin of soup for lunch. I was a bit chilly before, but now that I've eaten hot soup, I'm feeling warmer, so no temptation to put the heater on now. DS2 generally doesn't slow down long enough to get cold, and DS3 is dressed comfortably warm.
I'll be doing a little baking this evening, so the oven will warm up the downstairs somewhat. Banana bread (for snacks) and pumpkin pie (for DH's lunches for the next few days). Yummmmmmm:jMSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -
I'd been postponing putting on the heater for awhile, but I finally caved in this morning and asked DH to turn it on and check all the radiators. I've been up all night with DS2 as he was running a fever of 39.6 and was feeling miserable. He's much better this morning, thank goodness, but I couldn't believe how COLD the house was!! I suppose I noticed it more as I wasn't under the duvet all night like normal, but there it was - freeezing!!! I'm a bit annoyed with myself, as DH was happy to turn it on sooner but was waiting until I gave in. I had wanted to wait until the beginning of November if possible. Although heaven knows it feels good to be warm again. It's just enough to take the chill off.
I will say that having sick kids tends to make you backslide in expenses a little. I need to make a special trip to the grocery store to pick up more Calpol, caffeinated drinks (to stay awake if necessary), and such.
oh.. I am sooooooo sleepy....MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0
