im not bothered either way as its only a small registry office affair but how many of you who have had a similar small wedding, didnt have one, or either?

do i really need a best man? does she need bridesmaids?

  • I'm having a small wedding and having 2 bridesmaids. OH isn't having a best man. I wasn't even going to have bridesmaids until i got coerced into it! No you don't need either as long as you've got your 2 witnesses :D

H2B is having 2 bestmen and I'm having no bridesmaids. I don't see anything wrong with not having a bestman. Makes it much simpler in my opinion!
  • No bridesmaids, best man or even guests! We only invited our parents who were our witnesses.
  • We have got 2 best men and 4 bridesmaids, but thats our choice, don't feel like you have to ask people just because it's what's expected of you, go with whatever you want, it's your day after all!!!!
  • You don't need either if you don't want them, just you two & two witnesses, have a lovely day & enjoy it x

The only thing you need are 2 witnesses, but you don't even have to know them, you could just drag 2 people in off the street if they agree to it for you.

You can have 14 bridesmaids and no best men or 2 best men and no bridesmaids etc etc.....it's totally upto you :)
