Does anyone know if these choccies usually expire within 6 to 8 months? Or are these old tins that they are selling?

Was this just a one-day special thing at Asda? I was in a big store today, and there was no sign of any big tins of chocs anywhere?

Celebrations £5 in sainsburys also tins of Foxs chocolate biscuits £4.99 (half price)
  • As the OP said, they are only selling these at this price so early as they know we will buy them for Christmas but eat them up long before then!

Chocolate usually has about a years date on it, but these would have been made a few months ago, chocolate companies start making Christmas in early summer! In October November they'll be doing Easter

  • As I was walking through M&S today, (Note walking though, not shopping, as on a really tight budget at the moment!) I noticed they were selling quite a few diff boxes of their Thornton-like Continental Chocs and Tins of biscuits at half price.
Sorry I have no idea of weight or sell-by-date, but they did taste GORGEOUS - as I had a free sample :D:p
  • So tempting but they'd be eaten straight away and be straight on the hips
