  • I did a tour of Boots stores yesterday! :rotfl:

In the Dewsbury store, I got In the night garden (ITNG) collapsing trio for £3.18, a set of 3 ITNG mini plushes for £3.68, peppa pig spaceship for £5, Fifi jigsaws for £1.68, Iggle Piggle Push & play for £1.68 and a Crashing Thomas toy for £1.68 - all on 3 for 2.
There was nothing at the Birstall store, but they had some stuff left at Wakefield. I got a Giant Telly Tubby Aqua Draw mat for about £5, a lego duplo digger for £5, and a bubble fire station for £5. I also got Teletubbies Aqua draw mini mats, a duplo rubbish truck, a little people royal tea party set and a few other bits all at between £1.50 and £2.50 - again all on 3 for 2.

Just thought I would mention, at the Dewsbury store, they had loads of clothes down to £1, and sunsafe swim suits down to £5. The also had the 4 pack family suncream which was on offer at £10.99 reduced to £2.75. Got the last two of those - but they might have some elsewhere (although I tried at Birstall and at Wakefield and they were still full price - so this may have been store specific)

Very dissapointed not managed to get any bargains. Tried Middlebrook and Bolton yesteday, not much at either.
Middlebrook had some Dr Who figures and toothbrush's and ING wooden figures, Bolton had a few Dora Bath items.
  • Does anyone know if any of the stores inor near Basingstoke have cheap toys...went into town yesterday but nothing was advertised as reduced! Really want to get some presents for my little boy for christmas.

    Hi mininoel,

I think you may have been too late for the reductions in Basingstoke town centre. I went in yesterday too and downstairs there was a clearance section by the door with a few stray teletubbies on it. There had obviously been more out earlier as I saw several people wandering around with big Boots carrier bags obviously full of toys! The stuff upstairs was all full price new Xmas stock on 342. There wasn't much left in Newbury retail park either, just a few ITNG things and they did have 2 Peppa Pig rockets but I'm assuming they'll have gone by now too. Boots in Reading Oracle also had hardly anything left - all the lego had gone, a few Fifi bits and bobs. I am going to try the Chineham one tomorrow but don't hold out much hope. I only want a Boots Learning thru Play Kiddie Driver (£4, was £16). HTH

  • No toys in Kings Lynn store today. All they had in the clearance section was dr who cybermen or dalek battery toothbrushes for £2 each, cars bubble bath with foam tile sticky things 75p, Dr Who giant dalek bubble bath £1.50, Ben 10 watch £7.50, Ben 10 comic book maker £4.50, some ITNG toiletry bits and that was it!!

I did spot some cheap hair straighteners and a hairdyer set for £15 each but didnt need either of those!

Nevermind, at least I have saved money by not getting the bargains !?!hopefully there will be more offers posted on here soon so I can get my Xmas shopping on the cheap!!!
