At your current rate of payments to the DMP, how long would it take you to repay the amount of the ISA if you were to use this to get rid of the debts?
Would it be possible to make F&F offers if the amount in the ISA isn't enough?
If you were paying interest on any of the debts then it would be better to get rid of that first, but as you are not getting charged interest, i think it is best to keep this in reserve until you can make best use of it.After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110 -
i really dont know george as my maths is carp(see other posts in other threads!)but i think as i pay £150/month, and ive got £1600(calculated wrong before see this) itd take me about 11 months to get this money again?
where as if i put this(ISA) in savings, earn interest on it and add to it in 11 months ill have way more, be able to offer full and finals and be debt free a bit earlier plus maybe left with a bit more
how does that sound?!I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0
