Having visited Trinidad last year I would love to know how to cook this.
What type of rice? What vegetables do you use and what spices?
I have a sachet of Chief Brand Fried rice spice mix but want to know what to use when that runs out, thanks waiting in anticipation so i can cook it again and let the flavours bring back the lovely memories i had while there x

Not sure if this os similar to the one you wanted. I just googled trinidadian rice and it actually gave a few links to different recipes.'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0 -
Thanks for the link, but thats not the recipe, the one i'm looking for doesn't have any ham or prawns in it, just vegetables, i have had a look at trinigourmet and theres a similar recipe to what im looking for as well as mouthwatering recipes for doubles and pholouries. And yes the lady in the avatar is me
