beef consomme?

hi everyone! is there an alternative to beef consumme? i'm chucking some pork chops in my s/c today but the recipe requires one can of beef consomme, i'm here at home with a poorly ds so i cant go anywhere!
any ideas?

ok ignore that question, i have come to realise that beef consomme is made with beef stock, tom puree and herbs and stuff, if i cant make that myself then i will hang up my kitchen knives and pans and live on macdonalds for the rest of my days.....

thankyou! well i've done it and it all in the s/c now, will to the whats in my slow cooker thread shortly!
i didnt have time to simmer it for an hour as suggested by a recipe i found but nevertheless its smells delish! :cool:0
