I'm getting really annoyed with some of their surveys. Some of the questions 'how many times have you....' start the answers at 1. Fine if the question is optional but most of the time they aren't. This is going to distort the results and since some of these are published in national papers you'd think they'd be more careful.

That's their problem. I'm only there for the money !0

If you haven't realised, most of the time it seems that a 5 year old designed most of their surveys. The fact that they do not consider all possible answers, or dont make some questions optional, or just the way they put some questions in a very confusing way shocks me as i actually wonder who would pay to have such a poorly written survey done for you.
The results for them will obviously be wrong. But as said by woohoo, i think most of us dont care, we're just there for the moneyMSE allowed me to see the light0 -
Yeah, I agree with that. My problem is mostly when it's surveys on drink. They just don't seem to understande the concept of a person that doesn't drink. Anyways, rant over0

I did one just now.
Question 1:
Do you shop online? Yes/No
Question 2:
How often do you shop online?
Questions not optional and theres no choice of not shopping online. So what do they expect us to put there ??
Honestly how does Onepoll make its money if its survey results are so poor.MSE allowed me to see the light0 -
I answered one yesterday about sexual habits (!) - asking about how many times you'd had one night stands, how often you'd been so drunk you couldn't remember their name etc - and there was no option to answer 'Never'! I suspect that some are tailored to give the result they want - maybe that one was ordered by the Daily Mail to prove that women nowadays have no morals or something!0

I did the same...there was no option to put '0' for questions about how many one night stands you'd had etc I've had none but was forced to put down 1. The whole site is starting to really annoy me!Virtual Sealed Pot challenge #48Sealed Pot Challenge- #7290 -
haha I did that too, but I just found it amusing...:D0

I found that too. It's getting to the point when I'm just clicking any check box just to get it finished with some of them. I've also found that if there is a mistake with a survey, sometimes they put the same survey up a couple of days later but corrected which is more money for us!0
