I've finally got this moneysaving thing worked out!

I can't stop smiling today because finally, my efforts at moneysaving actually seem to be working out!!!
Today I have so far:
* Balance transferred £2500 of high interest credit/store card debt to 0%
* Worked out my new budget taking into account a recent pay increase
* Following a planned redundancy, have now been given a new job with a pay rise of £1450 extra a year (not much I know but every little helps)
My new budget a month to include everything is rolling in at £921.00 a month and that still leaves £233 a month extra to throw at debts. Fantastic!!!
Thanks to everyone here for their help. I'm by no means debt free, but with your help and my determination, I'm feeling positive about getting there faster!
Happy Friday everyone xxxxx

Great stuff! It's a lovely feeling when you are in control, isn't it?

Great news littlemiss, good to feel in control isn't it. I takes a few months to feel as though you are getting somewhere. I still feel I could try harder, but at least the debt is going down and not up. Congrats on your pay rise by the way.
