Gosh, I didn't realise you might ever have to PAY for parking at IKEA! We don't at ours, but it is on a retail estate rather than in the middle of town.Signature removed for peace of mind0

I know, a lot of people had a major moan about this when they built it. But being city centre, a lot of people would have taken advantage if they didn't put some controls in.
It started as spend £30 instore, get 3 hours free parking. After so many complaints, it's now spend £10 in store for 3 hours.
Tis a silly store really. Showroom/Restaurant is on level 6 and if you just want food, you have to go up to 6 and walk back round and down the entire store to get back to level 3 where the only exit is back to the entrance. Barriers stop you going back into the level 6 lifts to go straight back to 0.
After 2 years, I still meet people every visit who are lost and "just want to get out of the blasted store"Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

We don't have as many floors as that (I think it's 2 floors of goods but they're all up an escalator or lifts), and I still get lost! Don't go unless I have to ...Signature removed for peace of mind0
