Free Tickets to nationwide adventure film festival '09

http://www.adventurefest.co.uk/2009/free-tickets

Take some time out to experience the very best of this years adventure sports films as Canadas West presents the Adventure Film Festival 2009. Between 28th September and 14th October participating cinemas around the country will be offering up big thrills on the big screen allowing audiences the chance to watch award-winning films and record-breaking feats absolutely free!

The festival will consist of three themed nights - H20, Endurance and High Altitude at 35 Vue, Apollo and Picturehouse cinemas around the country. This year the festival will feature a new generation of adventurers alongside more established names. The stars of three particular films are all Brits who have taken a break from the 9 to 5 to undertake a personal journey and challenge themselves to achieve the most demanding goals, both physical and emotional - securing two world records along the way:

* Arch to Arc (Endurance) the dairy of Tom Beavers Enduroman challenge from Marble Arch to the Arc de Triomphe in memory of his cousin and in aid of Missing People.

* Oceans 14 (H20) a 14-strong crew race around the clock aboard Le Mondial in an attempt to break the record for rowing across the Atlantic.

* Running to the Limits (Endurance) 16-stone filmmaker Alex Vero goes on a journey to find out what it takes to become an international marathon runner.

Additional highlights include the latest exploits of Jack Osbourne and celebrity friends, Natalie Imbruglia, Lord of the Rings actor Billy Boyd and presenter Konnie Huq as they take on the Rockies in Alberta, Canada, for the new series of Jack Osbourne Celebrity Adrenaline Junkie on ITV2; To the Rock and Back charting the success of Alex Thomson and a host of British talent in the 2009 Rolex Fastnet Race; and 20 Seconds of Joy an insight into the mind and career of BASE-jumper Karina Hollekin.

Simply choose the cinema, date & time and print the voucher to bring along. Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis

  • Thanks waterhouse- I'm intrigued by your sig- how will you know you are the youngest 5 star mse'r? What is the record?
Also, I wouldn't normally point out spelling mistakes, but as it is in your signature, perhaps I could be the annoying aunt who points out errors and say that in 'your my 2nd family' it should be 'you're my 2nd family' as it is short for 'you are'.:o
