Wedding Suit Hire - Cheapest Options

Hi fellow B2B's,

I was just wondering where you are getting your suit hire from and did you shop around for the cheapest possible? The bit I am struggling with is because we are travelling up to Scotland from Essex we are going to have to pay for a good few days hire.

Has anyone else done this? We will probably even have to ask our hotel to sign for and give them to the courier for collection.

Would anyone recomend a suit hire company that are cheap and dont charge the earth for extended hire (Moss are very expensive IMO).

Thanks girlies :)

we are going for the 8 piece at £76, this includes shoes and cufflinks that the groomsmen can keep which will save us a bit of cash on presents for the groomsmen.

suits4u and greenwoods and i bet they have shops up there ring them to find out x
  • Clermont direct are cheaper than most, and their prices cover 14 days hire as standard, plus include the cost of returning them (they send you a prepaid package to pop the suits back in when you're done). They don't offer a complete package including shoes/shirts/cufflinks etc. but you could always source those elsewhere.

There is an ebay shop that offers a morning suit package including shirt, waistcoat and cravat for £50 (this includes delivery but maybe not returns) but they only stock a limited range of popular wedding colours. Not sure how long the hire period is but worth looking into. It says the suits will be sent to you a week before the wedding so presumably you can send them back a week after? Here is a link to the shop. Look in the suit hire section:

  • Hi peeps,

    Thanks for all your responses.

Hannah - the Ebay place looks great - the wine colour is what we wanted but the gold just looks a bit nasty with it - so am gutted there!

Out of all the others Hire Wear Direct looks the best I was just hoping there was somewhere cheaper lol.

    Thanks again peeps :T

I know, it's gutting that they don't have better colours cause it's a great deal price-wise. My wedding colour is purple and its SO difficult finding ANY suit hire with purple waistcoats, let alone a cheap deal! It's shocking how much suit hire costs!!
