Meeting with wedding co-ordinator tonight.

Im due to marry in a little over 3 weeks. We were originally told we would have our meeting 6-8 weeks prior to the date but the co-ordinator went away on holiday and failed to inform us after i rang 9 weeks before to find out if she contacted us or vise versa.
The hotel receptionist booked us in for today for fear we would be missed off other wise.
For those already marrieds still lurking or those who have already had their meetings what questions did you ask, did you take anything with you?
I feel very ill prepared for this and a part of me feels it will be rushed now due to the time scales left and i want to try to regain some organisation.
I do have my final sit down meal numbers and menu choices for it. I am also sticking with my originally quoted number of 80 for the evening as hardly anyone has bothered to send replies (which has been like a thorn in my side).
Table wise we would like a top table with a horse shoe shape coming of it for remaining guests.
Have i missed anything else out? Best man is sorting out the drinks on arrival so he will be coming along with us.
Sorry if it seems a bit of a ramble as i am starting to get frustrated now after months of organisation.

Erm,....final numbers, drinks and menu choices, payment for the balance....I can't think of anything else really sorry.
Just noticed you're getting married the same day as we are next year!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Table decorations, if you need highchairs, if there wil be a cake table, what linen etc they provide? That's all I can think of.
I'm having mine in October and the staff at the venue will be setting up my tables so I am going to take photos of where I want everything and lists of what should be on each table! I also have a table plan semi done so will get that finished and give them a print out so they know where to put everyone.
That's awful that noone has replied. I would send emails and texts asking them to rsvp by a certain date, that should get them replying because you need to know really, particularly for your table plan and to make sure you don't get more guests turning up than you have catered for.

Have been itching to do a table plan for weeks but until i can get it confirmed how we can have tables set up im not willing to do them.
Meal orders and lists for sit down are fine and have had them ready for weeks.
Table linen etc we were told at original booking we could have whatever necessary to fit in with our colour scheme and they will provide chair covers and sashes for a couple of quid each so no need to get outside firm in as they have been specially made for their venue in a range of colours.
Not really bothered if more guests arrive for the evening than we cater for as the sit down meal is not until around 4pm (cant confirm until tonight) so not many will be overly hungry from the day. No high chairs needed as only one 4 year old child present for sit down meal the other children are my own and are all teenagers (might need bibs for the messy little devils lol).
Payment of balance is something we have been waiting for since 9 weeks to go stage as we have been desperate to pay everything off so we know how much spends we have for honeymoon. Am getting so stressy now its unreal all my weeks of laid back angst have been beaten by this delay.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Just wanted to update on this from yesterdays rantings.
Meeting went better than planned, possibly because the best man and MOH went with us. We were asked how we wanted to go about the meeting, to either tell the coordinator exactly what we want or work through a day plan with her adding bits as we went along - we opted for the latter.
We talked through all the options of how to set the tables up and what would work best with 31 guests in total. We had concerns over the colour scheme and how it would work as we have a red, white and black scheme. We got rather worried that the black might drown the room and make it look more funeral than wedding. So we got to throw around table clothes, slip clothes and napkins until we were happy with it all.
Meeting probably took about an hour and we have now got the day before the ceremony to set up the room to how we want it so no rushing around on the morning. We have also had nearly £200 knocked of the quoted price due to lower numbers etc so we are so happy right now.
Thanks to all those who have inputted it is really appreciated.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j
