Do you have any accounts with them? If so, are any of them in arrears without their belated consent?

    Original mortgage-free date: May 2024

If you don't bank with them or have any debts with them I would say it is very suspicious. Halifax usually only use 0845 lo call numbers.

Yes, they are one of my creditors but I am with Payplan and I am assured that the DMP is in place. Do you think they are doing this to put the pressure on me? Should I ring them and re-advise them that I am with Payplan?

    Many thanks

Does it actually say "Halifax Bank" or "on behalf of Haliax Bank"? It looks like a Debt Collection Agency job to me. In which case tell them you have the Payplan arrangement, go away (or similar) and if they don't I'd phone the Police. Also, don't open the door to them if you're worried about them.

You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

According to this it is the phone number for the debt collection agency owned by HBOS.

The important thing to remember is that no-one can enter your home without your express permission. Don't let 'em in.
