Bad credit loan companies - not brokers purely companies who give unsecured loans

Hi,

I just wondered if we could gather together a list of all the companies who offer unsecured to people with bad credit.

This isnt a thread to list loan brokers or similar companies or to slate them for there undeniable poor practices.

Please fell free to give details on the loan providers - i.e. typical apr's however high they are, what they are like to deal with etc etc

Soem I have already thought of:-

Welcome finance (Please do not turn this into another we hate welcome thread, theres already enough of them already haha!)

Everyday loan company

HFC Bank???

Oh I do hope not.

HFC Bank have closed their lending operations and all their branches (which were branded as Beneficial Bank)

Welcome Finance have their own well documented problems and are also not lending at present.

There are still plenty of doorstep loan companies who will lend on a short term basis, but, in short, there isn't any 'household name' company who on a national scale will consider unsecured loans of more than a few hundred pounds to high risk borrowers at present.

There may be other moneylenders who operate locally but steer well clear is the usual advice here.
