Your Uni might even have its own hairdressing salon - where they give cheap haircuts to students.
Keeping a spending diary might help as it will show you where you are spending money. £100 for groceries, magazines etc is a high for one person and you should be able to halve this. Cook from scratch, take packed lunches to University (I know how they charge students in the canteens - its not cheap), you can still have something leftover for a magazine.0 -
